Políticas absurdas como el hecho de que la reservación sea hecha por un extranjero y que le cobren a un colombiano el IVA aunque la reservación haya hecho sida por un extranjero, pagamos más por el IVA que por el mismo precio de la habitación, ahora pagar un mundo de plata por un buen hotel para comer todos los días durante una semana huevos con arepa ,es absolutamente ilógico, malísimo el sistema de desayunos y restaurante,habitaciones muy ruidosas estando en un octavo piso, el hotel organiza fiestas privadas con mariachis y DJs los fin de semana, imposible dormir durante estos días .

El cuarto con una gotera toda la noche.
Nos levantamos para el bańo a la madrugada y habia un charco de agua.
Y el sonido de la gotera no deja dormir.

Tldr: Noisy, water leaking from the ceiling, probable mold problem.

I had reserved a junior suite. The first one they gave me was on the first floor towards the busy Avenida El Poblado. There was no double glass window so you could clearly hear the street noise. I was not allowed to change rooms on the first night since the hotel was booked full.

On the second night, they gave me another room. This one was quieter, ok but not perfect, but further away from the street. However, after I used the bathtub, there was water dripping from the ceiling in the main room. I complained to the reception and they got it fixed.

After the second night in the new room, I started to get a sore throat. As it happens, I am sensitive to mold. My guess is that the pipe had been leaking for some time and it had caused a mold problem in the room. The room had an earthly smell to it, which could have been due to mold.

I just gave up, ate a loss of two nights, and went to stay at another hotel. I did not want to risk getting sicker.

I don't consider this acceptable at all, especially considering that I paid more for a better room.

There are many newer and better hotels nearby for about the same price so there is no need to even consider this one. E.g. Estellar Square, Hampton, and Cityexpress.

Exceptional the hotel was like a 5 star hotel. The food, the service, the staff and the location was amazing. For the price I'd recommend this place a million times. Thanks to the entire staff at Hotel Porton!

Aunque fue muy corta mi estadía, las instalaciones, la alimentación y sobretodo la amable atención; merecen mi felicitación y reconocimiento. Lo recomiendo sin dudarlo.

Una pregunta, si alguien se queda en un hotel y alguien va a visitar esa persona puede entrar normal?

Excelente Servicio por parte de todos los empleados desde la llegada hasta la salida las habitaciones limpias y cómodas, desayuno delicioso y el restaurante en general

Awesome room and ambiance. The view from the dining room and bar area has an amazing bamboo garden view. Bed is plush and comfortable. Room is exceptionally clean!

This was a solo 8 day vacation and did not know what to expect. The rooms exactly matched the photo and are a value for the money. Not a 5 star hotel, but not a 3 star and they are accurate on the 4 star rating. The service is REALLY top notch from check in, bellman, restaurant and even management. I am a Marriott platinum member and travel the world and this is well run indeed! I even rented a motorcycle here, asked to park it here, no extra charge and really little things like that are nice to get a garage space for free and even better with a smile on their face. The food in the morning is great and staff is actively trying to learn more English, but I speak decent Spanish so it was fine. Either way, expect terrific service!

Stayed there for 3 nights, the staff was really friendly and always willing to help. My compliments to the breakfast staff for their kindness each morning, even if I didn't speak Spanish. The hotel is located near several shopping malls and a 10 minute-walk from the metro. Will definitely come back.

Muy buen servicio el personal muy atento, pero el ascensor un poco pequeño y antiguo y en la noche se escucha mucho ruido hasta del aire acondicionado que es central entonces un 5 para el personal y un 4 para las instalaciones

Excelente ubicación. Cuenta con parqueadero. Precios cómodos para un lugar tan completo. Cuenta con un restaurante con excelentes platos y no demasiado caros a mi parecer. La atención es muy buenas, el personal muy atento. Las habitaciones muy cómodas con aire acondicionado. El baño de lujo. Cerca varios centros comerciales y gym Bodytech.

Hostal not a hotel. I made a reservation for 8 days and then I have to change my reservation for only one night. Not even 2 starts hotel

Excelente. Muy buena ubicación, cerca a cc santa fé y oviedo, bar bbc. Muy limpio, grata atención, instalaciones muy cómodas, comida deliciosa.

Es un excelente hotel. El plan de aniversario es de mis favoritos, tambien es muy bueno el restaurante Village. Si quieres un buen lugar para descansar, limpio, con buena comida y sin ruido este es el lugar ideal.

Excelente hotel. Atencion de primera, una ubicación estratégica y la mejor relación costo: beneficio.
